The Automotive Technologies Program is an ASE Certified program designed to introduce and prepare students for entry into the many different facets of the Transportation Industry. Students will work in “Hands On Labs” with “Real World” applications of the technology. They will work with Industry standard tools and equipment, as well as receive practical, applicable instruction driven by Industry standards. Course curriculum is aligned with ASE Foundation expectations. The students will be instructed at MLR(Maintenance Light Repair) and AST(Advanced Service Tech) levels in a multitude of Automotive areas. Students will have an opportunity to take ASE Certification Tests in Electrical, Brakes, Steering/Suspension, and MLR. These credentials will line them up for immediate entry into the Industry Workforce, at a higher entry level of pay than a non-certified technician
