Don't miss these graduation pictures!

What can we say BUT we are ALL proud in #JagNation! Why? Because Clinton has been doing very well on the tennis courts. First, receiving the title of #1 in the 1A Regional Championships! He is the CHAMPION in our region, and for this moved on to the State level! At the Tennis 1A State Championships he took 3rd place! Imagine being 3rd in the whole state of Maryland! AMAZING! I am sure Clinton is proud of himself, and I know his coaches are proud, especially Coach Shannon Noble! Everyone in Somerset County should be proud! #JagNation is surely proud of all of his accomplishments!
Clinton is a great student all around. He plays multiple sports: Soccer golf, track, and tennis. He is academically amazing as well, with straight A's since Pre-K. He does all of this with the loving support of his mother and father, siblings (a sister and brother), grandparents, aunts and uncles, and abundance of cousins, and many, many friends. We will all be watching as you move on to college soon, and we are sure you have a lot more goals to meet. Washington Academy & High School is lucky to have had you represent us so well! Best wishes Clinton on your future, we see nothing but success coming your way!

ATTENTION SENIORS! Don't miss important dates and deadlines.

Dr. Owen's Thought For The Week
"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
Let's do our best to be great today, tomorrow, and this week."

All Somerset County Public Schools phone lines are currently down today, 5/19/25. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to restore service.

Along with their choral director, this group traveled to Queen Anne's High School to perform with guest conductors Chamice Frazier and Min Nam. They had auditioned and made it into the All Shore Choir to be invited to this performance. Pictured from left to right are Sophia, Megan (4th year in All Shore), Clarissa, Blair, Macy Miles (3rd year in All Shore). What an amazing bunch of singers! Proud for their accomplishments!

SADD/SCYAC are going to be busy in May! Do you have talent? Students and staff need to show their talents! All proceeds will be donated to the school's Sunshine Team! Please come out and support our talented students and maybe some staff.

Last drop. Difficult because we can only do 10 pics on post, so #JagNation enjoy all the pics. This here is a great group! They want you to join us on May 7th and they are working hard to get the word out!

A few more pics from todays commercial shoot. Thank you to the Somerset Local Management Board and Vernon Spriggs for making this happen. And a huge shout out to the Somerset County Health Department for ALWAYS supporting what SADD does. We appreciate you all. And AJ from 47abc for making things happen. The crew was decked out in their best zombie and neon attire!

Zombies versus the Neons! When the director/producer show up from 47abc, you know a commercial is in the making. The SCYAC and SADD members met on the track for a little filming. They are advertising the event at our school on May 7th, on the track, from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Are you coming out to support the Zombies in "Ghosting BIG Tobacco" because we all know that tobacco/nicotine kills, whether you vape or smoke it is NOT good for your lungs and there can be many negative health complications. OR, are you joining the Neons, dressed as bright as you can. Neons represent Mental Health Awareness Month through wearing bright/bold colors to represent "Coming Out of the Darkness". Depression is real and you do not have to suffer alone!
Watch for their commercial beginning next week on channel 47abc during prime time. And, then come out on Wednesday, May 7th for lots of fun, food, giveaways, and education. Play a little capture the flag. We want you to support the cause! Everything is FREE!!!
Are you a Zombie or a Neon? The choice is yours!

ATTENTION PARENTS! You do not want to miss this opportunity tomorrow.

Ms. Prado shared this "I’m also excited to share that one of our talented Anime Art Club members, Zamijae Murphy has been recognized in the OC Art League Manga & Anime Art Competition!
Zamijae, an 8th grade student, placed 3rd at the middle school level for their artwork. If you see her in the hallways make sure to congratulate her!"
